The Earth Celebration lineup has something for everyone! There’s three evenings of uplifting Harbour Market Concerts as well as daytime EC Theatre and Tatakokan Special Event performances. Also, we’ve prepared a wide range of workshops and hands-on Sado Experience Programs, offering fun opportunities to enjoy nature, culture, performing arts, and local delicacies on Sado Island.

HARBOUR MARKET CONCERTS

EC’s main event is this outdoor performance series, held every evening at Harbour Market in Ogi Port Park. The sea breeze, sunset, and stars provide the perfect natural setting for everyone to enjoy soul-stirring performances by Kodo and one-of-a-kind collaborations with international guest artists.

EC THEATRE

An intimate venue creates a special sense of unity between the stage and the audience. Join us at EC Theatre, where performers, spectators and staff all participate in creating truly unique performances.

EC PRE-EVENT

The night before EC, come and experience the subtle grace of Noh theater at a traditional firelit performance.

Like an oasis, this vibrant marketplace pops up for three days a year to form the heart of EC. Filled with an eclectic array of stalls, this is THE place to meet, eat, drink and be merry during the festival.
