Easy-Breezy Sea Kayaking
Love the great outdoors? Want some exercise during EC? Enjoy stunning natural views around the Ogi Peninsula from the water in a sea kayak. It’s one of the most popular ways to enjoy the sea here on Sado Island. There will be an instructor leading the way and beginners are very welcome.

A shuttle bus will be organized for travel to and from Kotoura Beach
- Schedule
9:30 /12:30 Register, change, and gather at Marine Plaza Ogi. Travel to Ogi Diving Centre.
10:00 / 13:00 Pre-activity Orientation (Instructions, safety talk, practice near shore)
10:30 / 13:30 Sea Kayaking Experience begins
12:00 / 15:00 Arrive back at starting point (shower, get changed), travel to Marine Plaza Ogi.
12:30 / 16:30 End

Bus travel is unaccompanied. Staff on location to assist with directions.

- What to Bring (Required)
Bathing suit and clothing that can get wet to wear over bathing suit (top and bottom), sandals (or shoes that can get wet), hat, towel, drink, and a change of clothes.
- Note(s)
- Each sea-kayak will be shared by two people. If you are alone or in an odd-numbered group, you will be asked to share a sea kayak with someone else.
- In case of heavy rain, flood, lightning, and other marine conditions, the program may be shortened or canceled. In this case, we will inform you by phone at least 15 minutes before the event.
- Insurance related to the sea kayaking experience is covered in the fee.
- If you will travel to and from the event in your own car or rental car, please come to Marine Plaza Ogi first to register and then go directly to Kotoura Beach/Ogi Diving Centre.
- Instructions and guidance will be given in Japanese.
- Price includes instructor fee, kayak rental, insurance
- Valuables can be left at the Sado Experience Registration Counter at Marine Plaza Ogi.
