Dance WS “Kami-umezu Onidaiko”
Onidaiko, which literally translates as “demon drumming,” is one of Sado Island’s iconic folk traditions. It’s an auspicious demon deity dance, which is said to bring good health and fortune. Come and learn the moves to this dynamic dance! There are some 120 styles upheld on Sado, and this workshop will focus on the dance unique to Kami-uemezu near Ryotsu.

Ayusu Hall is a 10-min.walk from Marine Plaza Ogi (EC Info Centre). There is no shuttle bus to/from the venue.
