Niigata Prefecture is famous for sake (Japanese rice wine). Offshore Sado Island is one of Niigata’s thriving sake hubs, with pure water and top-notch rice allowing breweries to produce some of the best sake around. Come and indulge yourself on a tour that visits some of Sado’s iconic sake breweries. Along with various tasting, you’ll learn about the sake-making process and enjoy a gourmet lunch paired with local sake.

Take charter bus to first location
9:45–11:50 Tour of two local sake breweries
12:20-14:35 Tasting and pairing of Sado sake and gourmet lunch (includes survey response time)
15:15 Arrive back at Marine Plaza Ogi, end of tour

Comfortable walking shoes (sneakers or similar are OK), adjustable layers of clothing for varying temperatures

- Minors (ages 19 and under) may not join this tour.
- The amount of sake offered for tastings is predetermined. Please enjoy the sake responsibly with consideration for other participants and staff.
