Fun in the Sea with Stand-up Paddleboards

Try this popular marine activity this summer on Sado Island. Stand-up paddle boarding involves balancing on a large surfboard and propelling yourself forward with a long oar. It’s fun, refreshing, and good for improving core strength, too!

Accompanying Staff

Instructor will lead participants to and from the activity location on foot.

What to Bring (required)

Bathing suit and clothing that can get wet to wear over your bathing suit (top and bottom), sandals (shoes that can get wet), hat, towel, drink, and a change of clothes.

Notes
  • All instruction will be given in Japanese only.
    Please ensure you complete registration by 10 mins before your meeting time.
  • Elementary school children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • In case of heavy rain, flood, lightning, and other marine conditions, the program may be shortened or canceled. In this case, we will inform you by phone at least 15 minutes before the event. We will contact you between 8:00–9:25 regarding the morning session and between 11:30–12:55 for the afternoon sessions, so please check your phone during these times for updates.
  • After the event, we would like to ask your cooperation to answer a questionnaire.
